To dance a top level quickstep your ankles and feet require extra training to strengthenI prefer to do this training besides your normal dance practise sessions Go to the nearest fitness centre and discuss what strength you like to develop in your feet,ask also your coaches what strength is required! Due to the speed of your bodythe feet and ankles need the right speedand power to be able to dance a sharp contrast between the Slows and Quick's. The knees and legs are more toned to capture your full body weight in the danceto make it look easy and smoothly.
