Sway is the most important way for a dancer to give artistic expression to the Ballroom Dancing. Sway starts from the ankles upwards without breaking at the hips or waist....... No rules exist to indicate the minimum or maximum level of sway. This is fully depending on the level of swing you give your body, consider that sway is a natural body behaviour to balance the couple during the end of the Swing or during Turns.
